HP ENVY Printer Problems — How to Fix Them

HP ENVY printers are sleek, wireless home printers — but like any printer, they can run into issues. Here's how to troubleshoot the most common HP ENVY problems.

Common HP ENVY printer problems:

• HP ENVY printer offline

• ENVY not connecting to WiFi

• HP ENVY not printing

• Ink cartridge error on ENVY

• HP ENVY printing blank pages

HP ENVY offline:

1. Restart the ENVY printer and your router

2. On Windows: Devices and Printers → right-click HP ENVY → Use Printer Online

3. If still offline, remove and re-add the printer

HP ENVY won't connect to WiFi:

1. On the ENVY printer panel, go to Settings → Wireless Setup Wizard

2. Select your WiFi network and enter your password

3. Or use the HP Smart app to reconnect

HP ENVY not printing:

1. Cancel all stuck print jobs in the queue

2. Restart the printer and computer

3. Reinstall the HP ENVY driver from support.hp.com

HP ENVY ink error:

1. Remove the cartridge and clean the contacts with a dry cloth

2. Reinsert firmly until it clicks

3. Replace with a genuine HP cartridge if the error continues
